Eugene Clark, who portrayed Big Daddy from the classic George Romero zombie film, Land of the Dead, will be making his second appearance at a Fantasticon show. This time Mr. Clark will be gracing our presence at S4-EP8 in Toledo, April 16-17. He will be signing autographs and taking pictures with fans both days of the event.
The show will be held at the SeaGate Centre in downtown Toledo.
Hall of Fame Comic Book Artist Neal Adams has been added to the list of Special Guests coming to the Fantasticon Lansing Show, March 5-6.
Neal Adams (born June 15, 1941) is an American comic book and commercial artist known for helping to create some of the definitive modern imagery of the DC Comics characters Superman, Batman, and Green Arrow; as the co-founder of the graphic design studio Continuity Associates; and as a creators-rights advocate who helped secure a pension and recognition for Superman creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
Mr. Adams will be appearing both days of the events signing autographs and taking photos with fans.
Also appearing at the S4-EP8 show in Toledo is the one and only Brian O’Halloran. O’Halloran is best known for his role as Dante Hicks from the classic cult comedies Clerks and Clerks 2. He will be appearing both days of the show signing autographs and taking pictures with fans.
Rounding out the list of special guests are legendary Marvel and DC comic book creator and writer Tony Isabella, Fangoria magazine artist Brian Steward, Green Lantern and Green Arrow writer and artist Mike Grell, legendary rock tattoo artist BC Hepner, former wrestler and creator of Hound Comics, Brimstone, World Famous Movie Make-up artist Daniel Phillips, and Marvel and DC Artists Keith Pollard, Arvell Jones, Jason Moore, and Jeremy Clark. Oh, and of course, Toledo’s own comic creator Dirk Manning will be gracing our presence..
Fantasticon is very proud to announce the appearance of actor, writer, and director Michael Dorn, who portrays the one and only Commander Worf from Star Trek, The Next Generation, and Star Trek Deep Space Nine, to the upcoming S4-EP8 show in Toledo, Ohio April 16-17. Mr. Dorn starred in the hit TV shows from 1987-1994, and also appeared in the Star Trek Movies “Generations, First Contact, Insurrection, and Nemesis”. Most recently Dorn had a guest starring role in the hit comedy movie Ted 2.
He will be appearing both days signing autographs and taking pictures with fans.
Fantasticon is very proud to announce the appearance of actor, writer, and director Billy Dee Williams, who portrays the one and only Star Wars Pirate, Lando Calrissian to the March 5-6 show in Lansing, Michigan. Mr. Williams starred in both “The Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi” films, as well as, guest appearances on the new animated series, “Star Wars Rebels”. He will be appearing both days signing autographs and taking pictures with fans.
Appearing at the Lansing show is Mallrats star Jeremy London. This will be his second appearance at a Fantasticon show. He first appeared at last year’s S3-EP5 show in Toledo. He will also be signing autographs and taking photos with fans, as well as taking part in a Q&A panel describing his experiences working with the Legendary director Kevin Smith and his role in Mallrats 2, and past experiences on the hit TV shows “Party of Five “and “7th Heaven”.
Fantasticon is very excited to announce that they will be bringing their brand of comic con to Birch Run, Michigan, October 8-9, 2016 and Fort Wayne, Indiana October 29-30, 2016. Birch Run is a special market as it sits directly between the cities of Flint and Saginaw. The show will be billed as S4-EP9 and be held at the Birch Run Expo Center located right on Interstate 75. S4-EP10 will take place in the great city of Fort Wayne, Indiana on Halloween weekend of 2016. It will be held at the Grand Wayne Convention Center located in downtown Fort Wayne.
These additions will make it a total of five cities in three different states for Fantasticon. Show information and tables sales will be available sometime in January.
Fantasticon is a mid-size show created for true comic book and pop culture collectors and fans. The fans that come to our shows are true collectors that are looking for those rare items for their personal collections. Most leave very satisfied as we pride ourselves on having great dealers and artists at our shows. If you collect it, you will find it at a Fantasticon Show.
Fantasticon is proud to have a presence in multiple cities throughout the mid-west. Currently we are in five different cities, in three different states including Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana.
We also, are very proud of the fact that our admission price is the lowest of any other comparable shows. And the cost for being an exhibitor or artist at the Fantasticon is far less than any comparable comic cons out there.
